As many of you know,
it was announced at our last Business-Building Lunch
that the chamber will facilitate a twelve-week
series called "Rise and Shine", based on the book
SHINE written by our November speaker, Kris
DenBesten, President and CEO of Vermeer Southeast.
The five principles of
Serving
others,
Honoring
God,
Improving
continually,
Navigating
by Values, and
Excelling
in Relationships, not only carried Kris and his
business through tough times, they enabled him to
take his company from six million to one-hundred
million dollars annually in sales!
This
series is scheduled to begin on Thursday, January 14
at 7:15am. The location will be determined by the
response; however, it will take place somewhere
along the I-4 corridor. The cost to attend this
twelve-week series is simply the price of the book
and workbook ($20.00 prior to the first meeting,
$24.00 thereafter), and is open to both members
and non-members of the Christian Chamber.
We are
still getting positive response from attendees of
our October lunch featuring Pam Lontos, and many
have asked if the chamber could provide a half-day
morning seminar where Pam could expand on the
marketing concepts she shared. Pam has agreed to
facilitate a workshop and we are looking at a date
in late January. This event will also take place
along the I-4 corridor, and the workshop cost will
be determined by the level of participation. Again,
this is open to both members and non-members of the
chamber.
