Business-Building Lunch A Huge Success; New Events Announced

Once again the chamber saw a record crowd for the September Business-Building Lunch. One-hundred fifty attendees were moved and inspired by Dr. Des Cummings Jr., executive vice-president of Florida Hospital, who spoke on "Ideas from God for Business Leadership". Des graciously gave his book Creation Health Discovery to all who attended.

Two Upcoming Events Announced

The curtain goes up for the Christian chamber as we meet at The Plaza Theatre on Saturday, October 17^th and Thursday, December 17^th for two evenings of fellowship, entertainment and inspiration. If you're not a member of the chamber, this is a great reason to join!

In October, "The Witnesses", part two of "The Rock & The Rabbi" trilogy, returns for an encore engagement. Those who have enjoyed R&R will absolutely love this musical story of Peter and Paul AffordableONE and the birth of the church. Though this is a sequel, part one doesn't have to be seen first to enjoy the experience. You can click HERE to learn more about the musical and sample some songs.

Prior to the performance, The Plaza Theatre will host a special reception for chamber members. Hors d'oeuvres will be provided and there will be plenty of time for meeting and greeting.

In December we return to The Plaza Theatre for a very special event. "The Child" is a musical story AffordableONE recounting the birth of Jesus Christ with Joseph as the storyteller. Performed by the same R&R trilogy musicians and singers, "The Child" is a perfect addition to Christmas celebration. What makes this evening even more special is that our chamber Christmas party will take place at the theatre before the performance.

Now for the great news - chamber members get a great price! The regular price per ticket for "The Witnesses" is $33.00 and "The Child" is $38.00. Ticket prices for chamber members are only $23.00 and $29.00 respectively. This also includes admission to the chamber events prior to both performances. If you purchase tickets for both events as a package, you get an additional $2.00 off for a total savings of $21.00 per ticket package!

Here's the catch, you must act fast. Since the performances are also open to the public, we're limited to about 200 ticket packages. There are two ways you can purchase tickets. First, you can call the box office at 407-228-1220. Second, you can go to the box office at 425 N. Bumby Ave. Orlando. Since this is a very special price for chamber members only, tickets cannot be purchased through The Plaza Theatre online service.

The Governor's Job Fair

Fox Trot Walk-a-Thon

A fund-raiser benefiting The Sharing Center to provide new shoes for kids and help with other food, shelter, medical and other basic needs. Honorary Chairman: Greg Fox of WESH-TV 2.
