The Perfect July Business-Building Lunch Speaker

July is the month we celebrate our nation's
independence and salute patriotic and dedicated
leaders who have shaped our history. On Thursday, July
8 we are privileged and proud to present Colonel Danny
McKnight, US Army (Ret.) as our featured speaker.
Many may remember the October 1993 battle in
Mogadishu, Somalia that was chronicled in the
best-selling novel and motion picture Black Hawk
Down. What was supposed to be a thirty-minute
mission to capture twenty-one members of an
extremist group became eighteen hours of horror.
After successfully capturing their target and
exiting the city, the convoy led by Colonel McKnight
returned to rescue American soldiers from a downed
Black Hawk helicopter. This is a story of heroism
and decisive leadership in the most difficult and
stressful situation. A link to view the movie

equipped to face the challenges of these uncertain
times.
